Why is Census 2010 important?
- The federal government uses census data to allocate billions of dollars annually to community programs and functions relating health care, education, housing, and development.
- Local, regional, and state government use census data for planning and designating funds towards infrastructure like schools, public buildings, transportation, and other critical projects.
