BAGIS Technology Sessions:

facilitates quaterly technology workshops for staff and officials to
introduce, review, and discuss technology issues related to websites,
hardware/software, productivity tools, and any other relevant issues.
Upcoming
topics may include utilizing free and low-cost
web-solutions, document management, improving customer service for
residents and businesses, and more.

Session Topics: Websites and Census 2010 data:
(6/4/2009) This sesssion distributed web content and links give
residents for our region a consistent message that can be viewed
online. Information included content for websites as seen on the BACOG Census Page and the countdown clock application on the Barrington Hills homepage
ArcView:
(TBA) Beginning and Intermediate ArcView training will be offered for members
as support for local data creation, mapping, and other topics.
ArcExplorer: (TBA) Introductory sessions on how to use ArcExplorer to view BAGIS and local data layers from the Maps & Data Program will be offered quarterly for all local officials and staff.
